Description:

Rarely offered elegant tree with beautifully shaped leaves, similar to hornbeam, which turn to yellow in Autumn. The brown, dry leaves do not fall from the plant, only at the end of the Winter. Excellent for trimming, for bonsai, for an unsual hedge or for patio plant. Drought tolerant and will grow in any types of soil. It has a horizontally spreading crown which gives larger size to the tree in width than in height.
