Description:

A small tree originated from Japan, with beautifully lobed or composed leaves and striking red-orange autumn colours. Slow growing, it make an excellent small tree in borders or on the patio (with regular watering) and also great for bonsai. Prefers slightly acidic soil with good drainage; it has very thin roots. Our plants are in a special compost mix with added loam, which provides excellent environment to the roots. The flowers are small but pinkish, then red winged fruits develop on the tree which has an added ornamental value to the main attraction: its glorious Autumn colours. Deciduous.
