Description:

This Australian plant great for the patio in the Summer and in a conservatory in Winter. Its deeply dissected leaves (larger when the plant gets older) are hairless and dark green; a fast growing plant; if kept in a large pot on the patio, protected from excess rain and overwintered frost free, it will thrive and flower abundantly all Summer long,and develop yellow, edible fruits (cherry tomato sized). It requires fertile soil and regular watering in the growing season. It is not winter hardy in the UK apart from Southern coastal areas. It can be grown as an annual plant, planted into borders for the Summer.
